Jane Fielding is a senior associate and urban planner with 19 years of diverse experience working in the planning profession. Prior to joining Architectus, Jane worked in planning consulting at WorleyParsons and Planning Workshop Australia. Earlier in her career, she worked as a strategic planner at various London councils (2006-2007), and at the ACT Planning and Land Authority (1999-2005).
Jane has led two of Sydney’s most recent significant planning proposals, including the State Significant Development Application for the Art Gallery of NSW Expansion (Sydney Modern Project) and for 4-6 Bligh Street where the first approval under the three year old Draft Central Sydney Planning Strategy was secured.
Jane is an alternate local member for the City of Parramatta Council on the Sydney Central City Planning Panel, an expert member on the Parramatta Local Planning Panel, the Hawkesbury Local Planning Panel, and the Ryde Local Planning Panel. Jane was formerly a local member on the Sydney South Planning Panel for Canterbury-Bankstown Council. Jane has been a member of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) NSW Divisional Committee since 2015 and was formerly vice president for PIA NSW (2017-18).
