Aviation
Architectus has industry-leading expertise in aviation architecture, designing and delivering a range of airport terminal and security projects across Australia. That includes more than 170 projects for Melbourne Airport, the national rollout of SmartGates in all major airports, and a role in Australia’s most significant new cargo precinct.
Our solutions for these complex projects are integrated, sustainable and flexible, allowing airlines and operators to adapt to the shifting travel landscape.
A seamless end-to-end user experience is at the heart of our design process. We employ the latest tools and technology, including passenger flow modelling and virtual reality testing with the support of our in-house Digital Design and Delivery team.
We combine our deep aviation expertise with local insights, international research, and relevant experience from overlapping sectors including Infrastructure + Data, Commercial + Workplace, and Rail.
Beyond projects on the ground, our Aviation team is focused on new ways to make airport travel more accessible to all. One of their latest initiatives is A-UX – an immersive simulation that helps people with disabilities and travel anxiety navigate complex airport environments before even leaving home.
The Aviation sector is part of our Transport and Infrastructure portfolio at Architectus focusing on systems that move people, goods, information, and resources.
