Rail
Architectus leads the way in rail infrastructure design and delivery. With a track record of innovative, sustainable solutions for the transportation sector, we are dedicated to shaping the future of rail travel.
Our portfolio includes over 50 rail projects across Australia and New Zealand, totaling more than 1000 kilometres of track.
We deliver large-scale, high-quality transport and infrastructure designed to enhance livability and productivity.
Our approach is underpinned by rigorous stakeholder engagement and collaboration. Leveraging our local and international transport expertise and insights, we design adaptable spaces resilient to social, environmental, and economic change.
Our human-centric design strategy is focused on creating a seamless end-to-end passenger experience. We employ tools such as passenger flow modeling and virtual reality testing, supported by our in-house Digital Design and Delivery team, to facilitate effortless transport experiences at all points of the journey.
Our team has contributed to city-shaping projects including Canberra Metro Stage 1 and Sydney Metro’s Barangaroo Station, a collaboration with international design practice Foster + Partners. We are also providing architecture services to the $2 billion Melbourne Metro Rail Infrastructure Alliance.
Rail is part of our broader Transport and Infrastructure portfolio focused on systems that move people, goods, information, and resources – everything from stations and airports to manufacturing facilities and data centres.
