Design Charrette

Each year we hold a design Charrette, bringing together our designers and other contributors from different locations, disciplines, and experience levels to respond to a unique urban challenge.

A hallmark of our practice, these much-anticipated events reflect our ethos as a collective committed to exploring and sharing powerful new ideas for Australia’s future cities.

At each gathering our design teams are joined by industry leaders and collaborators – everyone from First Nations consultants to design academics to sustainability experts. Together, we analyse the challenges and characteristics of a particular precinct, imagine potential paths to renewal, and then synthesise those ideas to spark conversation and build momentum.
