Architectus was engaged by Health Infrastructure NSW to provide town planning services for the major Stage 1 redevelopment of Westmead Hospital.
The planning services comprised preparation of Environmental Impact Statements and Response to Submissions for a State Significant Development Application (SSDA) for the Central Acute Services Building and Innovation Centre, and a separate Multi Storey Car Park SSDA.
A total of twenty-four Review of Environmental Factors (REF) were also prepared for early works comprising demolition of buildings, realignment of Institute Road, building refurbishment, site remediation, at-grade car parking, site infrastructure upgrades, and more.
