Liz has two decades of experience working in design practices in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Her expertise includes social housing, build-to-rent and high-end residential projects, mixed-use commercial developments and interior fit-outs. Highly involved in all aspects of her projects, she has extensive experience with design and project leadership, detailed coordination and delivery.

Liz spent seven years working in London on residential projects in some of London’s most upmarket precincts. She joined the Architectus Melbourne studio after working at Architectus  Aotearoa in Auckland. While there, she led the delivery of the first residential development within the city’s Wynyard Quarter – the award-winning Wynyard Central East 2. In recent years, she has played a key role in bringing valuable new work into the practice, including 600 Collins Street, Collins Wharf 5 & 6 and Elgin Towers, one of Homes Victoria’s key public housing projects as part of its high-rise redevelopment program.

Liz’s process includes thoroughly researching the contextual opportunities and constraints of each project and engaging with clients, stakeholders and users to deeply understand their requirements. Her work is underpinned by a keen attention-to-detail and a collaborative ethos.

Active within the creative arts and architectural community, Liz regularly attends design critiques and professional association activities, and she has taught design at The University of Auckland.
