The Grounds is an exemplary medium density low-rise development with a premium quality amenity offering to a residential community. Our design invites the surrounding landscape in by maintaining 53% of the site as gardens and open communal spaces that connect the multiple dwellings.
Ivanhoe East offers residents an enviable mix of established parklands, sophisticated retail offerings and well-serviced public transport links. Spacious boulevard-style streets, hilly vistas and waterways provide a peaceful environment for the relaxed lifestyle of its residents. Through the amalgamation of 15 titles, the Grounds development has been crafted to embody this local lifestyle and creates 116 new residences of 11 townhouses and 105 apartments ranging from 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms.
The design is sympathetic to the established neighbourhood character. A key objective was to maintain the high value trees within the site as gateway markers to the site. A new Park Spine and Village Green are accessible by the public, providing legible connections to nearby East Ivanhoe Village and Chelmsworth Park; adding value to the rich green space amenity that Ivanhoe East is known for.
The Grounds site offers a vibrant, medium density low-rise program which will change the lives of current and future generations. The development revitalises the local community and high amenity of the residential precinct, setting a high-quality benchmark as a desirable and attainable place to live within accessible proximity of Melbourne CBD.
