Professional Experience

Joining Architectus in 2017, Diana Rosenthal is a highly experienced interior designer whose projects span the commercial, workplace, education, retail and hospitality sectors. She excels in client engagement, including brief development, and consistently delivers successful, spatially designed projects.

Diana’s work is underpinned by her creative, collaborative and responsible design approach as well as a strong commitment to environmentally sustainable design principles. A detailed designer, she believes in project specific outcomes and delivers tailored and appropriate design solutions. With projects located throughout Australia, Diana’s collaborative approach to guiding teams through all design stages along with her ability to develop strong, ongoing client relationships ensures the delivery of successful outcomes.

Diana’s portfolio encompasses award-winning building upgrades, large-scale education fit-outs, tailored commercial interiors and refined luxury lounges. Significant projects include the nationally and internationally acclaimed Sustainable Industries Education Centre for Tafe SA at Tonsley, the Qantas International Business Lounge in Brisbane and Flinders University’s Health and Medical Research Building.

Before joining Architectus, Diana was project and design leader on multiple tertiary education and government and private sector workplace projects. She also specialised in delivery of fit-outs for many top-tier national legal practices. Additionally, Diana was the environmental interior design leader for the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources building upgrade and fit-out, a project representing the first of its kind to receive a 6-Star Green Star Office Interiors rating on first-round assessment.

Diana is an active participant in the SA design and property communities and an advocate for women in the construction industry. She is actively involved in the Property Council of Australia SA Chapter’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and involved in the Chapter’s “Girls in Property” programme. Diana is a NAWIC SA Mentor, a Business Chick’s Premium Member and a final year mentor to students of the University of South Australia’s Bachelor of Interior Architecture, having previously been a final year studio tutor in the same course. Graduating from the University of South Australia in 2003, Diana was awarded the UniSA Alumni Award for Interior Architecture, First Class Honours, which recognised her as the top student in her graduating year.
