This future-focused data centre and new global headquarters will expand NEXTDC’s footprint and offer in Queensland while strengthening its innovation and technology precinct in Brisbane.
B2 Stage 2 is adjacent to NEXTDC’s existing data facility in inner-city Fortitude Valley, part of an emerging and strategically significant mixed-use precinct.
As a leader in the design of data centres and quantum computing facilities, Architectus is working with NEXTDC on the urban design, architecture and interior design for the new 10-storey building. It features three levels of secure data halls above four levels of people-focused spaces including a customer experience centre and auditorium.
B2 Stage 2 is designed to provide customers with market-leading reliability, connectivity and efficiency, while fulfilling NEXTDC’s aspirations as a growing data centre owner and developer.
At the same time, the development is set to contribute to its surrounding precinct. The facility has a range of spaces for technology professionals, clients and staff to connect, learn and exchange ideas.
