Dean leads our expanding Infrastructure sector, with a particular focus on mission critical environments and the rapidly evolving world of data centres. He is at the forefront of some of Australia’s most complex and strategically important digital infrastructure projects.
Dean brings deep expertise in the programming, planning and design of these complex, high‑performance buildings, from the earliest feasibility studies and campus master planning through to detailed design and operational performance.
An accomplished leader and collaborator, he is recognised for creating strong, integrated project teams and for identifying innovative, sustainable solutions that balance functional performance with social and economic parameters.
Dean’s portfolio spans work for leading colocation providers, hyperscalers and the Department of Defence.
His experience on Defence and intelligence projects – including facilities that support surveillance, reconnaissance and electronic warfare systems – has sharpened his focus on security, resilience and continuity of operations.
A member of our Executive Management Group at Architectus, Dean is deeply engaged with the practice’s innovation agenda. He is always exploring ways to improve data centre architecture through more efficient planning, low‑carbon strategies and adaptive, future‑ready building typologies.
