Gillian is responsible for setting the strategy and leading teams within our expanding national portfolio in Transport + Infrastructure as a member of our Executive Management Group.

Her project expertise spans the design of critical buildings such as data centres, industrial facilities, large format retail, multi-level carparks, automated logistics and emergency infrastructure. These projects require careful planning and innovative thinking to achieve efficient yet well considered design outcomes.

A highly organised architect, Gillian thrives on the challenges of complex infrastructure and technical projects and the opportunity to work closely with clients, consultants, and collaborators. Her commitment to genuine collaboration is evident in the strong relationships she fosters across project teams, engaging all stakeholders throughout each stage to shape a shared vision and deliver purposeful, efficient, and enduring design solutions.

Before stepping into the role of Group Director, Gillian served as Infrastructure Sector Leader from 2023, leading a sector dedicated to systems that enable the movement of people, goods, information, and resources. Before joining us, she was Director and Sydney studio leader for Conrad Gargett, which joined forces with Architectus in 2023.

Gillian is a member of the Beneficiary Review Committee for the Property Industry Foundation (PIF), a role she finds both personally and professionally fulfilling due to PIF’s meaningful impact on addressing youth homelessness in Australia. She is also a member of the Property Council Australia NSW Industrial and Logistics Committee.
