Gillian leads our expanding Infrastructure sector, part of a broader Architectus portfolio focused on systems that move people, goods, information, and resources.

Her project experience spans a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on retail, mixed-use, industrial, and commercial developments. Her achievements include everything from successfully managing rollouts with leading retail chains to helping clients negotiate the best lease terms and fit out scope on leasehold sites.

A highly organised designer who can navigate complex project and stakeholder environments and meet challenging deadlines, Gillian is also adept at feasibility studies, site due diligence, contract administration, and design and documentation management.

Gillian’s commitment to genuine collaboration shows through all her work. She fosters strong relationships with clients, users, and other stakeholders, seeking their involvement and input through each stage of a project to achieve a truly shared vision and a purposeful, lasting design solution.

Before joining us, she was Director and Sydney studio leader for Conrad Gargett, which joined forces with Architectus in 2023. Prior to that time, she was a Director and founding member of Donaldson Worrad Architects.

Gillian is a member of the Beneficiary Review Committee at the Property Industry Foundation (PIF) – a role she finds personally and professionally rewarding given PIF’s ability to make a tangible impact on youth homelessness in Australia.
