The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and Sports Centre at St Laurence’s College in Brisbane is a state-of-the-art learning and sporting facility, innovatively accommodated within one building structure.

Situated on the site of the former Brady Hall and swimming pool, the STEM provides students with access to 14 laboratories tailored for flexibility of use for Natural Science, general Middle School, Physical Science, Engineering Science, Robotics and Human Performance. The facility also includes open workspaces for science educators and lab preparation rooms.

The adjoining Sports Centre comprises basketball, volleyball and badminton courts, along with a human performance laboratory, weights and fitness room, 220-person spectator seating and general learning rooms.

“It towers over buildings, gleams under the sunlight, catches the architectural eye in terms of design and provides a state-of-the-art STEM Building for students and staff at Lauries.”
