Professional Experience
Farhad Haidari has 20 years’ architectural experience across multiple sectors including housing, multi-unit residential, mixed-use, commercial, retail and master planning. He specialises in residential and mixed use, with a keen interest in urban renewal, transit-oriented and significant sites. Farhad leads the residential sector in NSW for Architectus and is responsible for the management and direction of the sector while being involved throughout the life of projects. He works collaboratively with Architectus’ urban design and strategic planning leads on significant urban renewal projects to ensure buildings are considered in their broader context.
Prior to joining Architectus in 2015, Farhad worked for Crone Partners and Mirvac Design, overseeing landmark multi-unit housing projects from concept through to completion. At Crone, Farhad’s primary role was to lead multi-unit residential projects, utilising his client-side experience at Mirvac, working closely with development, marketing, and construction divisions.
Farhad brings a broad knowledge tailored towards multi-unit housing projects, including planning and efficiency, understanding of the residential market, and detailed knowledge of SEPP65 and NSW Apartment Design Guidelines.
