Kevin Carrucan studied design and management in New Zealand at Carrington Technical Institute receiving his Diploma in Design and Management Certificate in 1985. In 1989 Kevin joined Foster Associates in London and was made an associate in 1993. During the 14 years he worked at Foster’s, Kevin was closely involved in the design and delivery of a number of significant projects; ranging in complexity from underground railways in Bilbao to the design of a high speed ocean going motor yacht, and the design of a new retail identity with flagship stores in New York and London. During 2003-2008, he worked with Hassell on projects including the Epping to Chatswood Rail Link and the ANZ Centre; the largest single tenanted building in the southern hemisphere.

He has worked on a range of projects including rail transport, large bridge structures, retail, mixed-use, student housing, commercial, residential, and cultural and community buildings in addition to industrial design scale projects such as bus shelters and street lighting.
