The 7th Combat Signal Regiment (7 CSR) Facility was delivered as part of the major redevelopment of Enoggera Barracks under the $700m Enhanced Land Force Stage 2B Program, which we delivered in a joint venture with BVN.
7 CSR provides communications and unit-level combat service support to Headquarters 7th Brigade (7 Bde) in order to enable command and control of forces assigned to Commander 7th Brigade.
The design organises a series of linear buildings reflecting the organisational structure (or lines) of command. The “front door” of the facility is the Headquarters of 7 CSR. A two storey contemporary commercial office building designed to simultaneously reflect the robustness and discipline of the military, whilst responding to contemporary office requirements of flexibility, adaptability and natural ventilation.
