Macquarie Park’s newest commercial office building tops out

Architectus Principal Colin Odbert, Senior Associate Andrew Dowe, and Associate Elijah Christopher recently attended the topping out ceremony of Array at 1 Eden Park, Macquarie Park’s newest commercial office building. Hosted by Kamirice, the Architectus designed building is being delivered by Besix Watpac.

Responding to the constrained urban context of the site, views to the north and eastern edges of the building have been maximised over existing buildings on Eden Park Drive. Abundant access to daylight is achieved throughout the day via a responsive, performance driven façade solution with minimal overshadowing from adjacent buildings.

Array at 1 Eden Park Drive has been designed to achieve a 5.5 Star NABERS rating, 5 Star Green Star rating and WELL Gold certification, achieved through an integrated design approach with early adoption of holistic, whole systems thinking. The project team worked collaboratively with the building owner to future proof the value of the asset through embedded climate-responsive elements and features.
