Our team and Urbis have been engaged to develop a strategic Master Plan to inform long-term staged development of South Brisbane’s historic Mater Hill campus that will build on Mater’s world-leading capabilities and meet the changing community healthcare needs.

The Mater Hill Master Plan is a road map for the future of Mater’s physical assets at South Brisbane and outlines proposed future development within the precinct. Mater’s vision is to transform Mater Hill into a ‘contemporary, integrated health, education, research and wellbeing precinct – a vibrant community destination where people come for healthcare, wellbeing and relaxation’.

The Mater Hill Master Plan allows for a range of mixed-use facilities, additional landscaped green spaces, enhanced site navigation and accessibility to support the local community, while celebrating the site’s rich heritage dating back to 1906.
