The Brisbane studio hosted the Committee for Brisbane’s first Patron Briefing event for 2020, welcoming guest speaker Cameron Costello CEO of Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation (QYAC).
Cameron shared the QYAC vision for economic and tourism developments on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), in a discussion around Native Title in Moreton Bay and some exciting developments in South East Queensland in conjunction with 2020 being the Year of Indigenous Tourism for Queensland.
We were also joined by artist and Quandamooka woman Delvene Cockatoo-Collins who is a member of the Committee for Brisbane Advisory Board.
