Qantas Brisbane International Lounge is open

Passengers visiting the Qantas Brisbane International Lounge are in for a pleasant surprise, following the opening of the expanded ground-floor lounge, designed by Architectus.

The new space emulates Queensland’s relaxed approach to living with slatted wall linings and custom screening taking its inspiration from louvres reminiscent of the iconic Queenslander homes. Featuring a fully operational commercial kitchen, bar, barista station, buffet and modern bathroom facilities, the expanded lounge will accommodate 100 additional travellers during peak periods.

Senior Associate Diana Rosenthal said, “the lounge space was inspired by Queensland’s renowned lifestyle of relaxed living and provides a light-filled space for travellers that reflects the quality and professionalism for which Qantas is known”.
