Conversation: design and the word pedagogy

Join us for a conversation with Dr. Kellee Frith Education Environments Strategist at Architectus and Mark van den Enden our National Sector Leader in Education; listen to them unpick the word ‘pedagogy’ and describe how deep engagement and conversations with educators are laying the foundation for Architectus’ approach to the design of learning environments.

Kellee talks about pedagogy as the philosophy and practice of teaching and describes her role in facilitating dialogue with educators to understand what is inherent in their practice, and how in turn environments can be designed to fully support that practice. Mark gives us the architect’s view, describing how Kellee’s approach and insights have enriched our design, with some great examples from recent projects.

Thank you to Architectus Principal Dario Spralja for convening the conversation, we look forward to more to come!
