A new Depot Design Guide published for Queensland Rail

We have designed a new publication for Queensland Rail, the Depot Design Guide.

Off the back of our complete overhaul of the Queensland Rail Station Design Manual – winner of a 2022 Good Design Award for Communication Design Excellence – we worked with the team to design a new guide to help bring their standards up to current best practices and enhance the quality and functionality of Depots throughout South East Queensland.

“This project was a fantastic opportunity to help Queensland Rail develop a consistent approach to each phase of a depot’s lifecycle, from planning right through to end of life,” said Principal Amanda Kershaw

The user-friendly design offers intuitive navigation and clear presentation of information and utilises visual communication, including custom illustrations and information graphics to incorporate relevant standards, codes and regulations.
