Architectus’ boutique new office building in Sydney’s CBD has been featured in InDesignLive as one of the rare commercial buildings in the city boasting a 2020 completion date.
InDesignLive‘s Alice Blackwood talks to Architectus Principal Colin Odbert and Associate Terrence Chau about the design intent of the newly completed 275 George Street and the role of commercial office spaces post-2020.
‘As Sydney workers gradually shifted out of the home office and back into the workplace, Architectus was putting the finishing touches to a lobby and bathroom facilities that were distinctly hospitality in look and feel.
It just goes to show that no matter the times, “there is always a role for commercial office space. The fact that it will always evolve and always change is a given,” says Odbert.’
