Architectus is designing Notre Dame College – a new Prep to Year 12 Catholic school located in the fast-growing Aura estate on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Designed to enrich learning and wellbeing, the school’s contemporary facilities will feature diverse environments that expand learning opportunities and embrace students of all ages.

Our concept organises the architecture into three parallel “hill ranges” that shelter the surrounding landscape and frame views to the Glasshouse Mountains.

Holistically, the campus will reflect the fabric of the housing development, with a mix of urban concrete, coastal fibro and perforated sunshade louvres complementing the natural setting.

Purpose-built for up to 1900 students, the new school is due for completion in early 2025.
