William Pritchard

As an Associate Principal in our Public sector, Will is focused on designing complex, culturally significant buildings, including the recently announced Canberra Theatre Centre, a collaboration with Henning Larsen and Arup.

With more than 25 years of experience in the field, he has contributed to a wide range of architecture in the Performing Arts and beyond, including in sectors as diverse as Education, Commercial, Residential, Retail and Infrastructure. Over that time, Will honed his skills in client consultation, design team leadership, conceptualisation, documentation, and construction delivery.
Before joining Architectus, Will worked for selected leading design practices in Europe and Melbourne including LIMINAL Studio, fjmt Studio (now fjc Studio) and ARM Architecture.

His portfolio features cultural landmarks such as the Hamer Hall Redevelopment, Melbourne Recital Centre, and Southbank Theatre, along with other significant projects such as Bunjil Place in Narre Warren and Geelong Library & Heritage Centre. Currently Will is central to the design of the Canberra Theatre Redevelopment project in the informative stage of defining its scope and budget. He is engaging frequently with the client, stakeholders and leading the consultant team
