Professional Experience
Mark Purslow has over 20 years of experience in architecture, having worked across practice management, integrated management systems, global legislation, project design and delivery, contracts and professional procurement.
His combined experience as both an architect and business leader underpin an expansive knowledge of the industry. As an architect, he has local and international experience designing and delivering award-winning projects of varying scales across sectors.
A strategic forward-thinker, Mark has expertise developing policy and process frameworks for architectural practices, including strengthening operational efficiency, financial management, professional culture, risk mitigation, probity, training, OH&S, quality, and environmental management. He holds an in-depth knowledge of Australian and international risk management and compliance standards.
With an aptitude for innovation and strong commitment to excellence in both design and professional practice, Mark is a thought leader on subjects ranging from construction materials to the principles of practice management. He is a mentor to several young professionals within the building and design industry.
As Group Compliance Manager, Mark is responsible for the management of Architectus’ compliance obligations, ISO certification program and oversees the Architectus HSEQ Management System. He is also responsible for the TAO accreditation and project safety.
