Carolina is a health facility planner with a talent for overcoming complex challenges to create environments that support physical and emotional wellbeing and enhance healing.

Understanding that a patient’s experience transcends the building envelope, she seamlessly integrates internal and external spaces in hospitals and other facilities, incorporating healing gardens and other elements that reflect biophilic design principles.

Experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams, Carolina has contributed to a range of public and private hospital projects in Australia and overseas, from master planning to design and construction. Her holistic, collaborative approach sees her working closely with users and consultants to achieve optimal environments balancing functionality with excellent outcomes for patients and communities.
