Sophie Cleland appointed to ARBV Board

The Architects Registration Board of Victoria (ARBV) have announced new Board Members appointed in July 2021. Congratulations to Architectus Principal Sophie Cleland on her recent appointment to the Board.

Sophie joins four other new members of the board following the recommendation of the Hon. Richard Wynne, Minister for Planning, Victoria. The Board leads the ARBV and sets the organisation’s strategic direction. The Board’s composition reflects members with a diversity of skills and experiences and the capability and capacity to support ARBV in achieving its commitment to best practice regulation and being a strong and effective regulator.

For over 20 years Sophie Cleland has provided design and project leadership across the community, civic and public projects. Her experience demonstrates an ability to lead complex stakeholder engagements, a dedication to client visions, and a record of seeing innovative, unique design through to delivery.

Sophie says, “I’m pleased to join the ARBV Board to support the government in ensuring the Victorian public continue to have confidence in our industry.”
