Senior appointment for the Architectus Digital team

Congratulations to Setareh Motlagh on her recent promotion to Digital Delivery Lead. Setareh’s new appointment reflects her significant contribution to the work of Architectus’ Digital team over the past five years.

An agile thinker and learner, Setareh specialises in design computation and optimisation. She has harnessed these skills to create digital models for key Architectus projects. Some of her recent work includes 23 individual models for the Growth Area Schools project and various models for Melbourne Airport.

She has also lent her expertise to tool and app development projects, most recently designing the Functional Assessment Capacity Tool (FACT), a tool that measures and analyses space requirements.

“What I like most about my job is that I’m often faced with new challenges,” says Setareh. “I love problem-solving and find it exciting when I can conceive of a way to make workflow more efficient or help with a computational design to create a parametric geometry.”
