Architectus Principal Oliver Mayger joins Affordable Housing Summit line-up

Architectus Principal and Sector Leader Living, Oliver Mayger has joined the speaker line-up for the Affordable Housing Development Summit, hosted by The Urban Developer on Thursday 24 August 2023.

The virtual event brings together industry experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore innovative approaches and the pivotal role of private sector involvement in shaping a sustainable housing future.

Using Markham Avenue – one of the first projects designed and delivered under Homes Victoria’s Big Housing Build – as a case study, Oliver will provide insight into how the landscape-led sustainable design response supports the psychological well-being of residents and the wider community.

Located in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburb of Ashburton, Markham Avenue has provided 178 new social and affordable homes where residents can enjoy the many amenities afforded to the broader community in a new residential precinct.
