443 Queen St design journey

Architectus Design Strategy Leader, Elizabeth Waston Brown and Cbus Development Manager, Michelle Fitzgerald shared their journey on the design and delivery behind the sustainable subtropical tower, 443 Queen Street, at the 2019 Housing Futures Conference.

Nurtured to be a new vision for the sustainable future of Brisbane, the 443 Queen St tower is naturally ventilated and infused throughout with subtropical vegetation, a radical departure from the standard sealed glass towers that proliferate in our cities.

Architectus and Cbus Property believe it’s an exemplar for the subtropical city, an approach they hope will be emulated.
