Urban Design
Architectus has one of the largest integrated urban design and planning teams in Australia.
Our leading thinkers and innovators collaborate on projects, master plans, approvals, designs, and policies. Together, we provide advice and solutions that are holistic, achievable, community-focused, and based on sound strategy and quality design.
Collectively we’ve worked on 30+ rezoning projects, planned and designed for 30+ major town centres and cities, produced master plans for 100,000+ apartments, and secured approvals for developments including hospitals, galleries, rail infrastructure, and landmark buildings.
We start with big-picture thinking to get the vision, character, and structure of a precinct right before drilling down into the detail.
Our city-shaping projects include the Central Precinct Renewal Program, the Riverwood Estate State Significant Precinct, and the Parramatta City Centre Built Form Framework, all in greater Sydney.
This sector also includes a dedicated Landscape Architecture team – valuable contributors given the increasing overlap between urban renewal, public spaces, and precincts for living, learning and working.
