Plaza Place’s architecture and interiors embrace passive design principles suited to Brisbane’s subtropical conditions.
The seven-storey building, located in Carseldine Village precinct, is part of Economic Development Queensland’s broader vision for a connected, mixed-use community.
Subtropical living
Apartments are oriented to maximise natural light and cross-ventilation, with generous, shaded balconies extending living spaces outdoors. These elements support year-round comfort while reducing reliance on mechanical cooling and enhancing indoor–outdoor living.
Considered layouts prioritise functionality, clarity and flexibility, with well-defined living and private zones that accommodate a range of household types and lifestyles.
The interior design works with the architecture to ensure homes feel practical, comfortable and adaptable over time, supporting long-term residential value.
Shared rooftop amenities play a key role in building community within the development.
Designed to capture breezes and outlooks, these spaces encourage informal social interaction and provide meaningful shared environments that complement private living spaces.
Sustainability
Plaza Place has achieved a 6-Leaf EnviroDevelopment certification. Initiatives include EV-ready basement parking, water-efficient fixtures and energy-efficient systems, supporting reduced environmental impact and lower operational costs.
As part of the EDQ-led Carseldine Village precinct, Plaza Place contributes to a cohesive neighbourhood outcome that integrates residential, retail and community uses.
