This new dedicated sports facility is designed as a beacon for Western Australia’s netball community, bringing together everyone from kids learning to play to grassroots teams to elite competitors.
To create this all-inclusive space, we began our planning process with extensive consultations. These included discussions with the Department of Sport and Recreation, Netball WA, VenuesWest, Perth Netball Association, the Town of Cambridge and the State Government.
Our stakeholder engagement saw us successfully capture and integrate the priorities of all parties within the design.
Spaces for every use
The centre’s geometry mimics the movement and pace of a match. It incorporates four international standard indoor courts, accompanied by injury prevention and rehabilitation settings, drug testing facilities and inclusive change room facilities.
Additionally, we provided workplace accommodation, administrative office space, catering and function centres and support facilities.
We satisfied a myriad of stakeholder requirements, delivering an elegant, high performance standard facility that will endure.
