The most sustainable buildings and spaces are those that are loved, used and occupied over many generations.

1 Blight Street Sydney | Commercial architecture

1 Bligh Street

The large urban space with sweeping north-facing steps makes a real public space at 1 Bligh, encouraging people to linger and sit down – an objective for all city place makers.

Beyond our commitment to the initial client and brief, it is necessary to consider each project as a safe, accessible, healthy, attractive and useful environment for future users and dwellers.

State Library Victoria Redevelopment | Cultural and public architecture

State Library Victoria Redevelopment

The Library has been evolving for 163 years and with this restoration completed in late 2019, we are preparing the Library for its future uses, and cementing its position in Melbourne’s history as the centre of inspiration and education.

Much of our cities’ architecture and urban design exists in the public realm and impacts the broader community. Projects that have the potential to incorporate social amenities and cultural opportunities in their buildings, landscapes and spaces will build social resilience and enhance sustainability.

King George Square | Social and public architecture

King Georges Square

We worked collaboratively with design partners JHD Urbis to create the structures for Brisbane’s central civic space to create a contemporary, activated and animated place.
