An expansion of the Sydney International Airport Terminal’s reclaim hall and baggage handling system declutters the space both visually and physically.

Expansion of the International Terminal’s baggage reclaim hall and baggage handling system to provide two new Code F capable reclaim carousels. The project provides a legible and functional solution for optimal space usage and elevates customer experience by providing clear visual communication through integrated signage and de-cluttering of the space.

The key principles underpinning the design solution are to maximise ease of use, de-clutter the space both physically and visually, provide integrated advertising and retail functions and provide a sense of place. The project includes the selection and application of a robust yet refined interior material palette to refurbish the remaining 9000 m2 of the existing Reclaim Hall.
