Envisioned as a vibrant, multi-use precinct that’s active all year round, Perth Park is set to elevate Western Australia’s standing as a premier destination for sport and entertainment.

Fostering both community connection and tourism, the project provides something for everyone, with spaces for concerts, sports, and cultural events as well as new urban forest and parkland.

A collaborative design team

For this initiative, the Western Australian Government is bringing together the best local and international expertise to achieve outstanding outcomes for the community.

The project is being delivered by the Perth Entertainment and Sporting Precinct Alliance comprised of Seymour Whyte, Civmec Construction & Engineering and Aurecon Australasia. Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design and Wayfinding are being led by a design team from Architectus, Populous and Urbis.

A project with enormous potential

Our team is inspired by the enormous potential the project presents for the city and the state, with feedback from over 50 user groups shaping the outcome.

After a collaborative master planning and concept design process, Architectus and Populous are working together to design the built form and event-mode overlays for the precinct.

A blending of built and natural environment

Some of the standout features of Perth Park include a large amphitheatre with a sweeping stage canopy and a vibrant hospitality venue to enhance the precinct’s new events.

Green space also plays a major role in the project, with the current tree canopy set to more than double within a landscape filled with native species of all kinds and wetland vegetation.
