Architectus has transformed one of two hotel buildings within a large mixed-use complex into a higher-grade Novotel.
The re-imagined space includes a redesigned customer experience including reception, food and beverage options and upgraded guest rooms.
The design is reflective of the dichotomy of the inner Melbourne location in the city’s northern suburbs. It references the ‘urban’ grit, with a strong sense of urban networks and built form referenced through materials, colours, and form.
The public ground plane is completely re-imagined, with a mix of hospitality, dining, co-working and collaboration spaces. Wellness is an important factor, with a large new gym and direct connection to the pool and outdoor spaces.
The Novotel hotel includes the Architectus-designed Stampton restaurant, an elegant modern dining destination on the ground floor. The adjacent building has beentransformed into a modern Together Co-Living complex also designed by Architectus.
