The new Melton Hospital will have the capacity to treat 130,000 patients each year and see almost 60,000 patients in the emergency department for the people of Melbourne’s West.
Drawing inspiration from the local landscape and ecosystems, the design encompasses healing, learning and living.
The Exemplar Health consortium has officially been awarded the contract to deliver the new hospital. Critical site preparation works are now underway, including important cultural and environmental work.
The project is designed in partnership with Designinc.
