The $630 million Fairfield Hospital Redevelopment is a major investment in Western Sydney’s health infrastructure, delivering the contemporary facilities and essential services the Fairfield community needs.
A new clinical services building
A new multi-level clinical services building will be constructed at the front of the existing Fairfield Hospital, enabling seamless integration with current health services.
The new building will accommodate:
- An expanded Emergency Department
- Intensive Care Unit
- Medical Imaging
- Operating theatres
- Inpatient wards
Renewing Fairfield Hospital
The redevelopment will also enhance the existing Fairfield Hospital, including upgrades to the main entry and drop-off areas to provide more convenient access to a new main foyer, reception and the existing hospital buildings.
Selected existing departments will be refurbished or relocated as part of the redevelopment, supporting contemporary models of care and future service growth.
A new multi-storey car park and expanded ground-level parking will increase capacity and improve access to health services across the campus.
