We designed a holistic solution to reinvigorate and reposition an existing commercial building located at the corner of O’Riordan and Robey Streets, Mascot, approximately 10 kms south of Central Sydney. The building owners wanted to achieve PCA A-Grade facilities through the redevelopment in order to attract tenants seeking high quality and modern facilities within the Sydney Airport precinct.
Our design approach rationalised the existing layout to increase transparency, activation and daylight while opening up the lobby to a new double-height space and secure entry.
The reconfigured ground floor incorporates concierge, lounge, cafe, gymnasium and end of trip facilities. The upper floor office levels and amenities were upgraded to achieve contemporary office spaces, PCA A-Grade facilities and BCA compliance. The existing top floor plant level was also reconfigured into office floorspace providing an expansive regional outlook and outdoor wintergarden.
