Professional Experience

Will is an enthusiastic, versatile, and entrepreneurial architect/master planner with 30 years of experience and completed projects across Australia, New Zealand, UK, China and Hong Kong.

Combining practice and design leadership with academic and public roles, he was previously Managing Principal of Perth Studios for Buchan and GroupGSA and is currently an advisor on the Western Australian State Design Review Panel. He has held academic roles in Perth at Notre Dame, UWA, and Curtin University. In the UK, Will served on CABE South West Design Review Panel and was a CABE Design Enabler specialising in the procurement of master plans in heritage environments. He holds a research role at Plymouth University and has lectured and tutored at many academic institutions.

Will believes a community-centric and collaborative design process is the key to successful outcomes. He is determined to continue learning and striving for innovative ideas to carry on delivering exceptional places for people to live, work and play.
