Wade is a leading healthcare specialist with more than three decades of experience across Australasia, Europe, and Southern Africa.
With work spanning the public and private sectors, Wade has built successful partnerships with government bodies, healthcare providers, clients, and design organisations to create healing environments that enhance the wellbeing of communities.
As a consultant he has held a range of high-profile, state-level roles, including Program Leader for Design Excellence in the New South Wales (NSW) Health Infrastructure project portfolio, Healthcare Design Champion for the NSW Government Architect, and a review member for the ACT Canberra Government Architect.
In NSW Wade also co-led the development and implementation of the Design Guide for Health, Spaces, Places, and Precincts with the Government Architects NSW – now a mandatory design standard for healthcare projects in the state.
Known for his vision, commitment, and strategic thinking, Wade is skilled in navigating complex procurement and driving change at organisational and government levels to help designers achieve outstanding outcomes.
