Tarooj Syed manages IT infrastructure at Architectus. He is a highly accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in systems administration and support. Tarooj is respected throughout the company for his excellent communication, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
During 12 years at Architectus, Tarooj has been instrumental in planning and executing various office moves. He has set up IT infrastructure for new studios in Adelaide, Wynyard (Sydney) and Perth as well as several project offices, and he successfully executed the Brisbane office merge.
Tarooj was an important member of ICT committee tasked with developing an IT roadmap for Architectus. Based on the committee’s recommendations, the company is now fully virtual with all local servers migrated to managed services provider, Brennan IT’s data centres. Tarooj worked closely with Brennan IT through this transition from a physical to virtual system.
Other achievements include rolling-out Office 365, developing BCP and disaster recovery processes and implementing a Helpdesk system for the IT and BIM teams.
