Michael has more than three decades of proven experience designing and delivering large, complex, and high-profile projects in Australia and abroad, covering a wide range of sectors and project typologies.

Known for his authentic, inclusive, and collaborative approach, Michael balances a genuine empathy and understanding of client and stakeholder objectives with a determination to effectively employ his extensive design and construction knowledge in the rigorous pursuit of pragmatic, innovative and outstanding design solutions.

Whether he’s leading people, teams, or projects, Michael’s commercial acumen, natural design expertise, and pursuit of excellence result in high quality, demonstrably healthy and sustainable built environments.

Just prior to joining Architectus, Michael contributed to a range of Commercial, Hospitality, Health and Heritage projects at international practice, Hassell. Standouts in his portfolio include Perth projects such as 9 The Esplanade, One The Esplanade, Hibernian Place + The Westin, as well as groundbreaking projects such as The Ribbon in Sydney.

The built outcome of his work has been recognised with awards from both the Australian Institute of Architects and the Urban Design Institute of Australia.
