Professional Experience

A skilled strategic and conceptual thinker, Mena Kubba’s experience has primarily focused on transport infrastructure projects where she has held senior roles from bid phase through to design and delivery. In recent times, Mena has worked on the Melbourne Metro; this has included coordinating large groups of designers, consultants and stakeholders, balancing design and logistical requirements, and seeing project deadlines met.

Mena’s focus on delivering high quality functional design outcomes is reflected in a portfolio that encompasses several winning and shortlisted architectural design competition entries in Australia, the UK and South Africa.

Throughout her career, Mena has regularly led workshops and worked as a mentor at several universities. She is a member of the Property Council’s 2020 500 Women in Property.
