Mary is Studio Leader in Melbourne, and a landscape architect and urban designer with significant project, team leadership and stakeholder engagement experience. She has established a substantial portfolio of transport, precinct master planning and public realm projects and brings a place and community-focused lens to her work irrespective of project type.

Mary is committed to enabling long-term positive outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement and management, strategic thinking and a collaborative, interdisciplinary design approach. Most recently, she has drawn on the breadth of her experience to lead the preparation of the SRL East Urban Design Strategy and SRL East Creative Strategy – key strategic design quality documents for the Suburban Rail Loop, the first phase of which are currently under construction in Melbourne.

During the preparation of the SRL Environment Effects Statement, Mary was instrumental in the process of stakeholder engagement including with the Technical Reference Group which included representatives of the Registered Aboriginal Parties, and the Urban Design Advisory Panel which included members of the Office of Victorian Government Architect.

Mary continues to provide strategic and technical inputs into urban design and landscape architecture projects in Victoria and interstate.
