Professional Experience

Mark Burrowes has significant design and delivery experience on a wide range of seminal Queensland projects including the Goodwill Pedestrian and Cycle Bridge, and the Thuringowa Riverway Arts Centre and Swimming Lagoons, Townsville, and has undertaken a range of project-types working for both commercial and government clients throughout Queensland.

Joining Architectus in 2009, Mark led the internal design team for QEII Courts of Law. Mark has been the project architect for major public and commercial projects throughout his career. In addition to major civic projects, he has been responsible for large scale commercial projects that include the award-winning Abigroup Headquarters and the Thiess Headquarters both at South Bank. Mark has also been project architect for a number of luxury riverfront apartment developments in Brisbane and brings experience in stakeholder liaison for a number of community sports and recreation projects.
