Professional Experience

Lucy Russell-Slater leads our People Advisory team, supporting the executive management group to position Architectus as an Employer of Choice in the architecture and design industry.
Lucy has a decade of experience, having started her career as a HR graduate in a fast growing technology company in Melbourne before taking on larger and more complex roles with experience in Professional and Financial Services.

Prior to joining Architectus, Lucy was based in Asia for 4 years working on both regional and global HR and talent roles for a leading multi-brand, multinational organisation. The foundation of Lucy’s career is built on business partnering. Lucy’s strength lies in building collaborative relationships with business leaders and HR teams in matrix structures to define and deliver a strategic people agenda in fast-paced and complex environments. With experience working in a global setting, Lucy’s expertise lies in recruitment & selection, performance management, engagement and building capability through talent programs. Lucy is team-orientated and thrives when people come together to support a common goal that positively drives engagement and business performance.

New to Architectus in 2020 Lucy is tasked with leading the evolution of the Architectus People agenda, continuing to build on the great momentum already established across key programmes and initiatives including industry-leading Parental Leave and flexible work practices, a National Graduate Program of Architecture, and Pathways to Promotion Programs.
