Professional Experience

Lucy Russell-Slater leads our People Advisory + Learning team, working with the executive management group to position Architectus as an Employer of Choice in the architecture and design industry.

Lucy started her career as an HR graduate in a fast-growing technology company in Melbourne before taking on larger, more complex roles in professional and financial Services. Prior to joining Architectus, she was based in Asia for four years, where she held both regional and global HR and talent roles for a leading multi-brand, multi-national organisation.

The foundation of Lucy’s career is business partnering, building collaborative relationships with leaders and HR teams in matrix structures to define and deliver a strategic people agenda in fast-paced environments.

Lucy’s expertise also spans recruitment & selection, performance management, engagement and building capability through talent programs. A team-orientated leader, she thrives when people come together to support a common goal that positively drives engagement and business performance.

Lucy is continuing to build on the great momentum already established across key programs and initiatives at Architectus, including industry-leading Parental Leave and flexible work practices, a National Graduate Program of Architecture, and Pathways to Promotion Programs.
