Laura is a highly experienced interior designer, working across a broad range of project types, including Health, Commercial, Workplace, and Education.

A people person, Laura deeply listens, cares and carefully balances various stakeholder needs and project requirements. She is known for her ability to tackle complex briefs with grace and ease.

Laura has played a key role in the interiors of many of Architectus’ Health projects, including the New Women and Babies, Kingaroy, Victorian Heart and Peninsula University Hospitals. She sees healthcare projects as the ultimate design challenge; creating spaces that are both beautiful, and meet the demands of a complex building programme with extreme compliance requirements.

Laura is also deeply invested in influencing how healthcare spaces impact the wellbeing of patients, staff and visitors. She uses salutogenic design principles to create spaces that promote holistic healing.

In addition to healthcare projects, Laura also has a strong interest in civic and educational spaces. She has worked on a number of noteworthy public projects including Brisbane’s Bille Brown Theatre.
