Kathryn Bonning leads the People Advisory team, tasked with supporting a collaborative, safe and respectful workplace. She develops and executes the people strategy that underpins the Group’s objective to become an employer of choice in the architecture and design industry by 2021.
An agile and commercially-astute HR practitioner, Kathryn has over 12 years of experience across professional services and retail, during which she has become known for her ability to get results while maintaining values of honesty and integrity. She has a wealth of expertise spanning the HR life cycle including recruitment, complex employee relations, team leadership and engagement.
Since joining Architectus in 2017, she has overseen the development of several progressive policies and benefits programs. She has pursued equity with industry-leading paid parental leave, introduced the aspirational Pathways to Promotion program for future leaders, a company salary survey with Aon Hewitt, and a partnership with Assure EAP (employee assistance program) that supports employees and their families through work and life challenges. She has also implemented a company-wide digital HRIS system as well as a tailormade competency and values-based approach to performance management.
